A clear record, from the first price to the final invoice.

Sign in to your workspace, price the added work and send a private approval link. Keep the agreed version with its project and download a PDF when you need it.

Open your workspace

Open your account and subscription

Create an account, confirm your email and sign in. New workspaces start empty.

  1. Open Account to check subscription availability and subscribe to Adendu Solo for US$15 per month through PayPal.
  2. Wait for payment confirmation before saving projects or creating client approval links. Returning from PayPal alone does not activate paid access.
  3. Add your business details, create a project and save your first change order.

Want to explore first? The example workspace works without an account and stays separate from your account records.

Your work and subscription stay with your account

Signed-in records are saved to your account. Use the same account on another device to open your saved projects. Save open edits before leaving the page; the editor does not save automatically.

In Account, refresh payment status or cancel future renewals. Canceling preserves the remainder of the confirmed paid period. After paid access ends, you can still read and export your records.

A checkout or account screen explains when a required service is unavailable. An account alone does not activate paid operations, and deleting browser data does not cancel a subscription.

Set up the project and your business

In Projects, choose New project and enter the project and client names. A client email and site address are optional. You can also create a project while editing a change order.

In Settings, save your business name, email, phone and optional business logo. These appear on your documents. Later edits update draft documents; an approved version keeps the business and project details captured at approval.

Choose Add change beside a project. Give the extra a specific title, describe the added scope and state any exclusions.

Run the paperwork from Business tools

Open Business tools in the workspace navigation. These records are part of the same workspace as your projects and change orders. Save a client first, then prepare the document or visit that belongs to them.

  1. Clients: save a name and the contact details you need. Optional notes should be relevant to the work.
  2. Estimates: add the scope, quantities and your rates. Saved items let you reuse a description and rate. Review any discount or tax you enter and download a PDF for the customer.
  3. Acceptance: record the customer's accepted or declined decision yourself. This status is your record of that decision; it is not a remote client approval or independent signature verification.
  4. Invoices: convert an accepted estimate to an invoice, or prepare an invoice directly. Check the due date, requested deposit and payment instructions before sharing the PDF.
  5. Payments: after money arrives through your usual arrangements, record the amount, date and any reference. A requested deposit is not a payment received. Check your bank or provider record before recording a payment.

Customer invoice payments are not processed by Adendu. A payment link you enter is an external destination you control. PayPal is used for your Adendu subscription, separate from your customers' invoices.

Record Visits with their date and project, then export a calendar .ics file for your calendar application. Exporting a visit does not connect or continuously synchronize your calendar.

Use Expenses to record costs by project and category. Reports provides date-filtered totals and CSV exports. These are working records, not a connected accounting system or a tax return.

Business details and optional branding appear in your document output. Keep invoices, payment entries and expenses accurate; Adendu does not independently verify transactions you record.

Turn a note into explicit prices

Write a note in the editor, then choose Fill from note. For example: Add hallway painting. 10 hours at $45. Materials $80. 1 extra day. This gives labor of $450 and materials of $80, for a $530 total.

The helper reads one stated labor quantity and hourly rate, one materials total and the added days. It uses your figures, preserves existing priced items and does not estimate missing prices or call an AI model.

  • Review the scope, quantities, unit prices and descriptions. Add further line items as needed.
  • All amounts are in USD. Use zero additional days when the original schedule stays the same.
  • Add up to six JPEG, PNG or WebP site photos per change. Choose files smaller than 12 MB; the browser resizes them before saving.

Choose Save draft to keep working or Save & preview to review the document.

Send a saved change for client approval

Check the scope, price, schedule and photos in the client preview. In your subscribed account workspace, create an approval link for the saved draft and share it with the intended reviewer yourself.

The link lasts seven days and refers to one frozen version. Your client can review from their own device, enter their full name and explicitly agree to the work, cost and schedule. No client account or payment is required.

Replacing or revoking a link closes the earlier request. If the document changes, create a new link. After the client approves, refresh the workspace to see the preserved record.

The submitted name and time record the action taken through that link. Adendu does not independently verify identity or authority to approve, and an approval does not guarantee payment.

When approved work changes, create a revision. The revision is a new draft for review; the approved original keeps its scope, price, photos and project details.

Download a PDF or print a copy

From the client preview, choose Download PDF for a paginated document with scope, prices, photos and any recorded approval. Print / Save PDF opens your browser's print dialog.

Dates use your browser's local timezone. Fictional sample records keep their labels in preview, print and PDF. Characters outside the PDF's standard Latin set remain visible as rendered images; those lines cannot be selected as text.

You choose where files are saved and how they are shared. A PDF is a readable record; export a workspace backup to keep editable data.

Keep a portable backup

In Settings → Download a backup → Export, download a JSON file with your saved business details, projects, changes, approval records, photos and Business tools records, including clients, documents, visits and expenses. Save open edits first.

An empty account workspace can import a backup. Imported changes become drafts and need new client approval links; local approval names are not treated as approvals submitted through a link. Your source backup remains unchanged.

In the browser-only example workspace, Restore a workspace → Import validates a backup and asks before replacing the current records. It does not merge workspaces. Export the current records before replacing them.

Backups can contain client contact details, notes, addresses, photos, invoices, payment references, visits and expenses. Store them somewhere appropriate for that information.

If a save fails, protect your work first

Keep the editor open. The recovery message offers Export saved backup for the previously saved records and Download failed save for the workspace submitted in the last failed attempt. Later edits and quick capture notes are not included.

  • Another session saved first: preserve the failed save and any later edits, then refresh the cloud records before making another change.
  • Connection or session error: check your connection and sign-in status. A paid-access error can be checked in Account.
  • Workspace too large: the workspace has a 4 MB safety limit. Preserve the failed save, remove unneeded photos from editable drafts and try again.
  • Unreadable browser records: download the original recovery text before resetting the example workspace. That text is preserved for inspection and may need correction before it can be imported.

The failed-save copy is held in page memory until another attempt replaces it or a successful save clears it. Download it before closing or reloading, and preserve later edits separately.

Dictate when your browser supports it

Dictate note uses your browser's speech recognition service and requires microphone permission. Recognition uses US English. Choose Stop dictation, then review the transcript and prices.

The browser or speech provider may process audio outside your device. Availability and privacy behavior depend on that provider. If dictation is unavailable, type or paste the note instead.

Explore without changing your account

The example workspace opens with fictional projects and documents. It requires no account or payment. Work saved there stays in this browser profile and site address; clearing site data can remove it.

Its approval form records a name on this device only. It does not send approval links or verify remote identity. Copying the example page URL does not share its records.

The home-page note opens a one-time unsaved draft in that example workspace, without replacing saved work. Example records never move into an account automatically; importing a backup is a separate action.
