Your account and work records
The signed-in workspace uses Supabase for account authentication and cloud records. Information you save there is sent to the account service so you can open it again with the same account.
Account records include your email and account identifier, business details and optional logo, projects, client names and optional contact details and notes, site addresses, estimates, invoices, scope notes, quantities, rates, prices, schedules, photos, revisions and approval records. Business tools can also hold saved items and rates, requested deposits, manually entered payment amounts, dates and references, project expenses and visit details. Save only information needed for the work and that you are entitled to provide.
A client approval link stores a frozen document and a hash of the access token. Anyone with the full link can read that version and submit a name and consent until the link expires or is revoked. Share it only with the intended reviewer. The service records the supplied name and time; it does not independently verify identity.
PayPal handles subscription approval, payment details and recurring charges for the US$15 monthly Solo plan when checkout is enabled. Adendu stores subscription and transaction references, payment status and the confirmed access period associated with your account. Account screens explain when a required service is unavailable. Customer invoice payments are not processed by Adendu. Their manual payment records contain the details you enter, rather than a verified bank or provider feed.
The services involved
Application pages and assets come from the server hosting Adendu. The host may log requests. Signing in, saving account records, opening client approval links and using PayPal require network requests to the relevant services. Account confirmation and recovery email are currently unavailable while Adendu-specific email is being configured; no separate marketing email service is connected.
The notes helper reads explicitly stated quantities and prices in your browser. It does not send notes to a hosted AI model. No analytics integration is configured in this application. External payment links entered on invoices lead to the destination supplied by the contractor and are governed by that destination's own handling of information.
Optional dictation uses your browser's speech recognition service. Microphone permission is required, and the browser or its speech provider may process audio on remote servers. Check that provider's settings before dictating sensitive information.
Photos stay with the change order
You can attach JPEG, PNG or WebP site photos. The browser resizes and re-encodes accepted images as JPEG. Their image data and filenames are included in the saved workspace, backups and documents that contain those photos.
Saving an account change sends its photos to the account service. The browser-only example workspace does not upload them. Photos included in an approval document can be viewed by anyone with its active link.
An optional business logo is also part of your workspace and may appear on documents you share. Check that you have the right to use it. Check the scene and filename before attaching a photo, especially inside a client's home. Keep originals separately if you need their original resolution.
You choose where exported copies go
PDFs, JSON backups and recovery copies are generated for download in your browser. A workspace backup includes saved business details, projects, changes, approval records, photos and Business tools records. A PDF contains the selected change order, estimate or invoice. CSV reports can include document, payment and expense details. Calendar exports contain the visit details you recorded.
Download failed save preserves the workspace submitted in the last failed attempt. It can contain unsaved details from that attempt, together with other workspace records. Later edits and quick capture notes are excluded. An unreadable-data recovery copy contains the original stored text.
These files can contain sensitive client information. Store them appropriately. Adendu cannot remove files you have downloaded, printed or shared; the service you choose to share them handles that transfer under its own terms.
The example workspace uses browser storage
The optional example workspace requires no account or payment. It stores saved records in this browser's localStorage under extrascope.workspace.v1. The identifier retains the earlier product name so existing records remain available after the rename to Adendu.
This storage is specific to the browser profile and site address. A different browser, device, hostname or port does not automatically receive it. It has no account-based access control or cloud backup. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to view the records.
Creating an account does not upload example records automatically. Importing a backup into an empty account is an explicit action. Imported local approvals become drafts requiring new client approval; the source file remains unchanged.
The workspace has a 4 MB safety limit. Open edits are not saved automatically. Failed-save copies remain in page memory until another attempt replaces them or a successful save clears them. Closing or reloading may lose unsaved work. Clearing site data or ending some private browsing sessions may remove browser records.
A home-page note has a one-time handoff
Continuing the editable home example temporarily stores the note in this tab's sessionStorage under extrascope.quick-start.v1. The example workspace consumes and removes that note once, then opens an unsaved draft for review.
The handoff does not replace saved records or copy work into your account. Editing the home note alone does not save a change order.
Keep control of your records
- Export: download PDFs or choose Settings → Download a backup → Export. Save open edits first.
- Share: send an approval link only to the intended reviewer. Revoke an outstanding link when it should no longer be used.
- Import: review the source file and the confirmation before importing. Backups can contain client details, addresses and photos.
- Browser storage: export example records before resetting that workspace or clearing site data.
- Microphone: stop dictation or revoke microphone permission in the browser's site settings.
Resetting the example workspace or clearing browser data does not delete account records, cancel a subscription or remove exported files. Use Account to manage future subscription renewals.
Operator and privacy contact
Adendu is operated by Dezza. For support, privacy questions or a request about your account data, email contact@adendu.com. Canceling a subscription does not delete saved account records. There is no self-service account deletion tool in the application.
Use Account to manage renewals. You can export a workspace backup from Settings before replacing or importing records.
For practical steps, read the workspace guide, or open your account workspace.
